Preconceived ideas.

I know some ladies have a pre conceived idea that Ann summers is all toys and lubes and they feel nervous to speak about that side of things or nervous to be in a job that’s surrounding sexual pleasure but I just wanted to show you that Ann Summers has come such a long way, it’s no longer all about rabbits and rubs. We do so much more, we give women confidence, courage, self belief in themselves.  We make women feel Empowered, Glamorous and sexy day and night - everyday. Ann Summers isn't just about sex and sex toys.

Is this just an advertising trick or ploy - no it isn't . This is based on my own journey.

I have always been that 'big-boned' girl throughout my life no matter what diet or exercise I did or what I attempted to do to slim down I was always cuddly and curvy. I was always told I had the family genes of the boobs, broad shoulders & big arse.  Normal bras and lingerie felt 'unflattering' and 'unsexy'  I felt more flumpy in them than alluring. 

Once being a person with little to no confidence I use to dress in 'big hide up everything' potato sack clothing. I felt ashamed of my body and size, I began to believe it I wasn't attractive. Over time I learnt to embrace my curves and Ann Summers helped me with that, I found lingerie that I felt comfortable in, helped me with my confidence and yes made me feel sexy again. I started to appreciate what I have, its not perfect and I have lumps and bumps where I don't want them but its me. I now only wear Ann Summers Lingerie it's comfortable for during the day and sexy for the evenings/weekends. I have learnt to embrace my size and hell yeah show off my curves. I no longer feel ashamed of wearing clothes or lingerie that I feel comfortable wearing, rather than wearing what was expected for my size and age. It the same for thousands of women around the world and you shouldn't have to be any different - no matter your shape or size - embrace it. I live and appreciate what Ann Summers did for my confidence I wantes to give the same joy to other woman hence why I now sell their products and continue my love affair with their brand and the empowerment that hides behind it.
